About Zac
Celebrant Since 2021

Hi, I’m Zac.
I became a celebrant in 2021 after two of my closest friends got engaged and asked if I would consider marrying them. What started as a favour quickly turned into something I genuinely loved — and word spread fast.
Before I knew it, friends, family, and friends-of-friends were asking when I’d be qualified. I opened my bookings, and in 2022 I took the leap into working as a professional celebrant.
What I’ve fallen in love with most about this role is the people. I love getting to know couples, hearing their stories, learning what matters to them, and working together to turn their ideas into a ceremony that feels completely right — all while having a laugh along the way.
I’m here to support you in whatever way you need. That might mean lots of check-ins, bouncing ideas around, or simply knowing I’m there quietly in the background if you need me. Every couple is different, and I genuinely enjoy adapting to what works best for you.
I work closely with each couple to craft a ceremony that reflects who you are — not something generic or templated — and I guide you through the process step by step so nothing feels overwhelming.
Outside of celebrancy, I’m also a high school teacher. That means I’m used to wrangling crowds, making sure everyone is where they need to be, and thinking on my feet when things don’t quite go to plan. It’s given me the ability to stay calm, organised, and handle whatever a wedding day might throw our way — quietly and smoothly.
My goal is simple:
To make your ceremony feel easy, authentic, and unforgettable.
